The Osteria Chiara staff includes members of three families. Together we grow, gather, procure and purchase the finest ingredients available for each special Italian style dinner that we present. We create an inviting, cozy ambiance for your dinning experience and we strive to serve you with attention to detail. Dinner always includes antipasto, zuppa, pesce, home-made pasta, insalata, secondo, cheese plate, dolce and more. We serve our food on ceramic dinnerware that our resident potter creates.                                                   Osteria Chiara Holiday Dinner

Saturday, December 10th, 6:00pm

Magic certainly accompanied our Osteria Chiara ‘revival’ dinner last month, which took place in the beautiful historic brick building which houses Roma’s Butchery in Royalton. After a hiatus of several years, our dinner guests were welcomed at the front door of our present ‘home away from home’ into the grandeur of the front hallway and spacious dining rooms beyond. They enjoyed course after course of tantalizing taste treats, culminating with our entree of the night - Osso Buco alla Milanese -  featuring beef shanks sourced in-house — a true favorite.

Prepare to enjoy delectable Northern-Italian style cooking conjured up by Chef Steve, along with a memorable dessert made by Linda Harvey all served within the backdrop of a formal yet warm and comforting festive atmosphere. You may bring your own beverages, though we will supply water - both sparkling, and Vermont’s best.

Roma, our host and butcher, did an apprenticeship in Italy and she now sources all of her products from local Vermont farms on a daily basis. We have been sampling her meats all summer and they are always fresh and delicious. This is a very exciting partnership for the Chef.

Tickets for the dinner are purchased in advance and are non-refundable as we have limited seating, though transfers are permitted.

 The price is $100 per person which includes dinner and tax.

Gratuity is not included.
